Taken April 10, 2009 at the Institute of Business and Medical Careers’ Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society Ceremony in Fort Collins.

The motto for ABK is “Faciemus,” which means “we shall build.” The members of ABK are life long builders, ever striving to help others, their Alma Mater, and the society wherein they are leaders.

Today I stopped by the campus in the late afternoon to get photos of the Fort Collins campus. Late afternoons are pretty calm around IBMC. Sort of the eye in the storm of morning and evening classes. As you can see from this set of photos the campus was pretty quiet.

I did notice that the “Blog Zone” has been set up in the student lounge. This will give students a chance to check out this blog as well as the other areas of social media IBMC is venturing into, directly from the computer in the student lounge.

If you stopped by the blog yesterday you saw the slide show of the February 19th Assembly at IBMC’s Fort Collins campus. The photos and the slide show are part of IBMC’s Flickr Photostream.

Flickr is a great way to share photos with friends, family and all across the internet. If you have a Flickr account and upload photos from around the IBMC campuses be sure to tag them with “IBMC.” That way we can all easily find them. Not sure what a tag is? Well I am glad you asked…

Tags are like keywords or labels that you add to a photo to make it easier to find later. You can tag a photo with phrases like “catherine yosemite hiking mountain trail.” Later if you look for pictures of Catherine, you can just click that tag and get all photos that have been tagged that way.

You may also have the right to add tags to your friends’ photos, if you friends set that option in the privacy settings for their photos.
