The Institute of Business and Medical Careers (IBMC) campuses recently held a barbecue, a massage clinic fundraiser in addition to an internal promotion to benefit the Wild West Multiple Sclerosis Walkabout (August 20th-22nd), an event which helps benefit those who are stricken by this disease.
The Wild West Multiple Sclerosis Walkabout is a 50 mile 3 day walk along the trails of Fort Collins. Each walker is to raise a minimum of $750 through sponsorships. For information go to http://wildwestmswalkabout.org/. The IBMC team of walkers includes: Tom Goehring, Hideo Matsushita, Rick Jennings and Paul Anderson.

Wild West MS Walkabout & Multiple Sclerosis Information:

The proceeds of the fundraiser Wild West MS Walkabout will be divided with 20% going to the support the local research and wellness programs of the Colorado Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS). Another 20% will support the Rocky Mountain MS Center. The mission of the Rocky Mountain MS Center is to help people living with MS and their families lead a quality life by providing individualized care, support, education and research.

IBMC Caring Individuals…Changing Lives

At the Institute of Business and Medical Careers our students live very full lives. Not only do they work hard in class many of them have a family to take care of and a job to hold down while attending IBMC. We wanted to catch a glimpse of life for IBMC students so we started to loan students a Flip video camera to do a little bit of documenting.

In this video we get a look at the life of Pinky:

Philosophies of IBMC

Provide job-skills training based upon current industry needs.

Provide the opportunity for students to obtain marketable skills.

Incorporate hands-on experience as part of the program curriculum.

Provide the necessary individualized instruction to enable students to progress to their highest potentials.

Provide job placement assistance for graduates.

Work with an Advisory Board, comprised of area business managers and owners, meets to review ideal skills for various careers and to suggest curriculum changes that will enhance our programs.

Our faculty not only teaches the essentials to build your chosen career, they also motivate you every step of the way.

The Institute of Business & Medical Careers is a school that is serious about life changing career education but we also know when to let our hair down and have a little bit of fun. Recently IBMC got a new jingle to help with our marketing efforts. The marketing team was very excited to introduce the jingle to the staff and students of IBMC so they wanted to present it in a creative way. What better way than to have a handful of students make a little music video?

Jesse, Rachele, Jolynne, Brittany, Jimmy, Christine deliver a break through performance in this video that is soon to be a hit all across the internet. And with only 3 minutes of rehearsal time! Be sure to push play and check out the new IBMC music video. You will be able to say you knew them before they were famous.
