Friday May 15, 2009 was a big day for IBMC, it was Graduation Day. Students, staff, friends, and family gathered at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins to celebrate the ending of a great chapter in the lives of IBMC students. That evening they proudly wore a cap and gown, sat on a stage for all to see, and received their degree or certificate.
The ceremony was just over an hour long and I will be sharing with you videos from the ceremony. Today is the first, IBMC’s CEO Richard Laub delivering a welcome speech to begin the ceremony.

I have been counting down to graduation since I started here at IBMC, and get more excited as I complete more courses. I am a paralegal student here at the Fort Collins campus, and I’ve really enjoyed my experience here. Every instructor here is fully committed to helping us students succeed. I counted my credits and realized that I am now halfway toward completion of my program. One thing I have found out over my time here is that it goes by so fast! It feels yesterday that I walked in and started my first classes.
I feel more self-confidence than I have ever felt before knowing I have half my program behind me, and a sense of success and pride in my accomplishments. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA since I have started, and that is not an easy feat here as the paralegal program is extremely challenging. I now know I can do what it takes to secure a job in a troubled economy because IBMC is preparing me for the work force. Thanks to all of you for being so dedicated in helping me reach my education and career goals.
